EastEnders’ Mick and Linda Carter delighted as they return as Queen Vic owners

EastEnders fans will be delighted when Mick and Linda Carter return to the Queen Vic in upcoming episodes.

The couple have reclaimed their positions as landlord and landlady of the iconic boozer – which is home to most of the drama that occurs in Walford.

In new snaps released by BBC, the couple look over the moon as Mick flings the doors open to the public with a huge grin on his face.

Linda looks just as happy and is wearing a pink sparkly dress for the occasion, as she looks ahead to the future with her husband.

Sharon Watts (Letitia Dean) decided to sell the Queen Vic back to the couple after Max Branning (Jake Wood) blackmailed Phil Mitchell (Steve McFadden).

Before leaving Walford, Max threatened to put Phil in prison with the evidence he acquired from his brother Jack (Scott Maslen) if he didn’t ensure the Vic was signed back over to Mick and Linda.

However, as Mick (Danny Dyer) and Linda (Kellie Bright) resume their place pulling pints next week, others are suspicious as to how they got back behind the bar.

In particular, Rainie (Tanya Franks) and Stuart (Ricky Champ) start to question how everything has worked out for the Carters, but DI Pine soon interrupts.

He privately tells Mick that Katy Lewis (Simone Lahbib) has been arrested and they will start appealing for more survivors which leaves Mick anxious that people will become aware of what happened to him when he was a child.

Meanwhile, Stuart learns that a woman has been arrested for historical child abuse offences and he starts to piece it together.

Later, Frankie visits The Vic, angry that everyone is going to find out about her mum.

Viewers will see Stuart secretly listening and left shocked at what he hears.

He’s desperate to get revenge for Mick and makes a phone call to Callum – but how can he get a hold of Frankie?

EastEnders viewers recently found out that Frankie is Mick’s daughter, and that he was sexually abused when he was just 12-years-old by his care worker Katy.

He isn’t the only victim though, and Frankie isn’t the only child born from her abuse – fans have even been speculating that Stuart may be one of her victims too.

*EastEnders continues on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays on BBC One.
