Vanderpump Rules’ Scheana Shay explains why baby daughter Summer hasn’t met her siblings yet. Scheana’s fiance Brock has two kids with his ex-wife.
Vanderpump Rules star Scheana Shay reveals why baby daughter Summer hasn’t met Brock Davies’ other children yet. The Australian hunk has two older children with his ex-wife. Their supposed lack of presence in his life has been the source of much speculation. Brock and Scheana, who are currently engaged, are now setting the record straight.
The couple welcomed daughter Summer Moon Davies in April of this year. Summer was a rainbow baby, after Scheana’s tragic miscarriage in 2020. The 5-month-old is one of many babies born to the past and present Vanderpump Rules cast members over the past year. A few months after welcoming their bundle of joy, engagement rumors started up. They confirmed the happy news in July. While promoting the upcoming season, the focus of interviews has been their future wedding plans. However, the time has come for Scheana, who signed a pre-nup before their engagement, to address the elephant in the room.
Scheana and Brock recently spoke to Us Weekly and when asked about their baby getting to know her half-siblings, Scheana revealed there’s some extenuating circumstances preventing that. The Bravo star explained that there are still travel restrictions in place due to the pandemic. Brock’s son Eli and daughter Winter live in Australia. “You’ll find out this season…we’re still working on our relationships there with my ex,” the trainer said. As for a timeline, Brock added that he and Scheana hope the siblings meet “hopefully sooner rather than later on.” The HOMEBODY app founder also teased his tension with co-star Lala Kent. Viewers saw Lala stir drama with Scheana and Brock in the trailer for season 9.
Some have raised their eyebrows about both of Brock’s daughters having seasonal names. However, the 31-year-old insists that the newborn’s name wasn’t actually his call. Instead, Scheana explained, Summer has been her dream baby name for some time. She was inspired by the name of Rachel Bilson’s character in The OC. In response, Brock said, “I was like, ‘100 percent.”…For me, it hit home. I was like, ‘Down on that.’ Works perfect.”
Longtime viewers have seen Scheana go through the ringer in her personal life. The Good As Gold singer insisted she’s happier than ever in the season 9 trailer, but it remains to be seen if that’s really true. On a positive note, despite their feud, Scheana and Lala have since made up. Fans will have to wait and see how it all plays out.
Brock and baby Summer will both make their Vanderpump Rules debuts in the upcoming season 9. After a long hiatus, new episodes premiere on Tuesday, September 28. Lisa Vanderpump previously teased what surprises Brock adds to the long-running series.
