The Espresso-2-Go mission is one of the most difficult in the Grand Theft Auto franchise but it’s easier to complete when players know where to go.
The Espresso-2-Go mission in GTA 3 as part of Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition is known to fans as one of the most difficult missions in the series. This is due to the strict time limit in place, and the travel distance needed to be successful.
The Espresso-2-Go mission is given to players by Yakuza member Asuka Kasen. Even with the Trilogy Edition’s updated controls, players still find it infuriatingly difficult to travel to and destroy every coffee stand across the game’s three islands, all while the Cartel does their best to put fans in an early grave. And all of that on a time limit.
The time limit for this mission begins after the player has destroyed three of the nine shops in GTA 3. At that point, fans have eight real-time minutes to destroy the rest before the Cartel can warn their dealers. With this being the case, it makes the most sense for players to start their destruction with either the two stalls on Portland Island or the two on Shoreside Vale, that way they don’t have to travel back to those islands.
Tips For Completing the Espresso-2-Go Mission in GTA 3 Trilogy Edition
There are nine Espresso-2-Go stands in GTA 3. That may not sound like a lot, but they are scattered across islands. Players can only hope they don’t also have to deal with the now infamous GTA Trilogy: Definitive Edition rain while searching for them in these locations:
- The first shop is near the hospital in Pike Creek.
- This stand is near the statue in the Francis International Airport.
- In Belleville Park, this stand is in the courtyard of a building.
- This stand is on a path on the west side of Belleville Park.
- This next shop is near the church in Bedford Point.
- This shop is near the roadside bushes toward the center of Bedford Point.
- The last shop on this island is near the star statue in Torrington.
- This stand is in St. Marks by a parking lot.
- The last stand is opposite the dock entrance in Trenton.
As the player progresses, a car full of gangsters will try to ram them off the road. The gangsters inside, as well as those at the Espresso-2-Go stands will be armed with guns to fend the player off. This mission is notorious among fans of the GTA franchise for being both difficult and rage-inducing. Players should remember to keep their cool and watch the clock. It may take a few attempts, but completing the mission is possible with the shop locations in mind.
GTA 3 as part of Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition is available for PS5, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC, and it will launch on iOS and Android in H1 2022.
